Banana Pudding

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced

  • 2 cups milk

  • ½ cup sugar

  • 3 tbsp cornstarch

  • 3 egg yolks

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 30 vanilla wafers

Directions:

  • Add sugar, cornstarch, and salt into the saucepan and heat it.

  • Whisk in milk until smooth. Cook for 5 minutes.

  • Add egg yolks to the small bowl and whisk to combine.

  • Add hot milk mixture to the egg yolks and return to the saucepan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.

  • Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

  • Add vanilla wafers, banana slices, and custard into the dish.

  • Cover and chill the pudding in the refrigerator for at least 2 hrs.

  • Serve!
