Strawberry Bread

Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • ½ cup butter, softened

  • ¼ tsp salt

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ cup cream

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 ¼ cups strawberries, diced

Glaze:

  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp milk

Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

  • Grease the pan.

  • Add salt, baking powder, and flour to the bowl and combine well. Keep it aside.

  • Add butter and sugar to another bowl. Add lemon juice, cream, and egg and combine well.

  • Add dry mixture to the butter mixture and combine well.

  • Top with strawberries and fold them. Bake for 60 to 70 minutes.

  • Prepare the glaze: Add all ingredients for glaze to the bowl and combine well.

  • Drizzle over the bread.

  • Serve!

Cooking Tips:

  • Gently fold the strawberries into the batter to keep them from breaking down too much.
